center-overflow spillway. The dam is located off Interstate 5, 15
miles northwest of our Redding property.
The Carter House Natural Science Museum
features displays of native animals of northern California. The

Redding property.
The Redding Museum of Art and History has
revolving contemporary art exhibits, items displaying Shasta County
history, and works of ethnic art. The museum is located at 56 Quartz
Hill Rd, 3.1 miles northwest of our Redding property.
Shasta was the gateway to a large area
of riches and is now an interesting gold-rush relic. The park is
located 6 miles west on State Route 299.
Waterworks Park has three flumes, an inner
tube ride, an activity pool, a children's pool with slides and a
fountain, and facilities for beach volleyball, basketball and video
games. Located at 151 N. Boulder Dr, the park is 3.5 miles north
of our Redding property.
